Antarctica (en)

A name that evokes surreal scenarios, as the explorations that led to its deeper knowledge only in 1897.

Ice as far as the eye can see, mountains, tumultuous seas. Despite the adversities, Antarctica is home to life, in some of its most amazing examples. This is one of the best places for nature and adventure lovers, to meet whales and penguins on board of research vessels that do not fear ice and hostile weather.

A remote and uncontaminated place, discovering it will help preserving it.

“I am hopeful that Antarctica in its symbolic robe of white will shine forth as a continent of peace as nations working together there in the cause of science set an example of international cooperation”. – Richard Byrd.
